Shine Dental Hygiene provides dental exams and X-rays in Grande Prairie and surrounding communities. Everything is completed inside our comfortable mobile dental hygiene van, which can come directly to your home or workplace.

What is included in a dental exam?

Your exam includes an assessment of your teeth, gums and overall oral health. We check for areas of concern, review your gum health and complete an oral cancer screening. If anything suspicious is found, you will be referred to a dentist for further assessment or treatment.

Digital dental X-rays

Digital X-rays allow us to see areas that cannot be properly examined just by looking inside the mouth, including between the teeth and below the gumline. Your X-rays are taken right inside the van using modern digital equipment.

A quieter, more comfortable experience

The mobile clinic provides calm, completely one-on-one care without a busy waiting room or several people moving around. This can make the experience much easier for anyone who feels nervous or anxious about traditional dental offices.

Flexible evening and weekend appointments

Shine Dental Hygiene is open Thursdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and evening appointments are available for adults and children throughout Grande Prairie and surrounding areas.

Most dental insurance plans are accepted, including CDCP, the Canadian Dental Care Plan.
