Hello! My name is Marilyn I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for close to 20 years. While I was born and raised and completed my studies in Canada I spent most of my career overseas. I had the opportunity to work with colleagues from all over the world. This was so interesting and important in my career development as I learned different techniques and approaches to Dental Hygiene. I moved back to Canada about 4 years ago and was shocked at how unadvanced hygiene was in its approach and its methods.

I started Shine Dental Hygiene to use the best products, best tools and most advanced procedures. I also believe stress reduction is important in all aspects of life but especially at a dental visit. I have taken measures to provide a calm, quiet and cozy atmosphere. My hope is you will enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed creating it!

In case your wondering….I am obsessed with all things desert. Hence the cactus and succulents in my decor. They calm me and bring me joy. I guess we all have our weird obsessions! What are yours?
